At Elevated Travel, we are committed to providing the highest level of service and creating memorable travel experiences for our clients. While we strive to ensure smooth and hassle-free travel arrangements, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, which could require changes or cancellations to your trip. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures for refunds and cancellations, as well as the importance of trip insurance to protect against unexpected issues.
1. Booking Process and Payment
As an independent travel agency operating through Yeti Travel as our host agency, Elevated Travel handles all payments and bookings securely via the Yeti booking portal or directly with the travel provider. Payment for travel services and arrangements is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified in the specific terms for the services or providers.
2. Refunds for Cancelled or Modified Services
Refunds for services that are canceled or modified are subject to the individual terms and conditions of the travel providers involved (e.g., airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.). Each provider has its own policies for refunds, cancellations, and modifications, which will determine whether or not a refund is available. These policies vary by provider and are typically based on the following:

Non-Refundable Deposits: Many travel services, including accommodations, flights, and tours, may require non-refundable deposits to secure your booking.

Cancellation Fees: If you cancel or modify a booking, certain fees may apply, depending on the time of cancellation and the policies of the service providers.

Refund Processing: Refunds, when applicable, may take time to process depending on the provider’s policies, and will generally be credited back to the payment method used for the original booking.
Please note that Elevated Travel cannot guarantee a refund for any booking or service unless explicitly stated by the service provider.
3. Trip Protection
In the case of unforeseen events such as illness, natural disasters, or other emergencies, we recommend purchasing trip insurance at the time of booking. Trip insurance can protect your investment in case of cancellations or changes that are outside of your control. Coverage may include:

While Elevated Travel will do its best to assist clients in navigating the claims process for refunds through travel providers, we are not responsible for refund decisions or delays made by service providers.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility is determined by the policies of the service provider and the nature of your booking. Some types of bookings and services may not be eligible for a refund. Refunds are generally not offered for the following:

Non-refundable services, including certain flights, hotels, and packages.

Bookings made with special rates or discounted services.

Changes or cancellations made after the provider’s cancellation period has passed.

5. Refund Processing Time
Refunds for eligible cancellations or modifications will be processed through Elevated Travel, and the time for the refund to appear in your account may vary. Refunds will generally be credited back to the original method of payment. Depending on the provider’s policy, you may be refunded in full or partial amounts, after any applicable cancellation fees are deducted.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact Elevated Travel as soon as possible. We will work with you to understand the circumstances and determine the appropriate course of action. When making a refund request, please provide the following:

Booking reference number.

Details of the travel service being cancelled or modified.

The reason for the cancellation or modification.

Any relevant supporting documentation, such as medical certificates, or proof of emergency circumstances.
Once your request has been received, Elevated Travel will begin the process of working with the provider to seek a refund or alternative solution, based on the provider’s terms.
7. Trip Insurance Recommendation
To provide additional protection for your travel investment, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive trip insurance at the time of booking. Trip insurance can offer valuable coverage for cancellations, delays, lost baggage, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen issues that may arise before or during your trip. By investing in trip insurance, you help ensure that your trip is protected against the unexpected, giving you peace of mind and financial security.
